Hear my soul speak:
The very instant that I saw you, did
My heart fly to your service.

“When all the blandishments of life are gone, The coward sneaks to death, the brave live on.”
Dr. George Sewell
Cowardly actions, avoidance, denial, non-confrontation. Boil them all down and you have weakness and cowardice. Life is difficult, full of confrontation and countless opportunities to admit failure and times to admit you are wrong. Seize those opportunities, face up to personal failings and learn from mistakes. We all make them, only some of us grow from them.

A dedication to those who think primarily of themselves in relationships. For those who want to change whoever they're with so the other's personality and habits no longer fit the owner, but the partner's wishes. For those who will end a relationship because the other visits a friend battling cancer, or who will disappear when the other wants commitment or turns their back because the other "does too much" or has too many friends. And certainly for all of those who say they are happy with monogamy until they're lying under someone else and going home with a mouthful of lies.
When we're really happy in our own skin and know that the decisions we make are good ones, and that we consistently aim to do the right thing in our own lives, we will never surrender our souls to the bidding of another.
