Ok, yeah....it did really snow. A lot.

I think most of the people who read this blog are in my general area and know about the snow and it's magnitude, so I really don't have to expand on it. If you're not around Delmarva, HOLY SHIT did we get a lot of snow. Calling that storm a blizzard is not an exaggeration, it was very impressive. Very scary on the roads - went to a friend's house because my power was out and the house got very cold. Fortunately he had 4 wheel drive, but even with that, it was really iffy. Things became white-out conditions in the afternoon. We had the luck to get right behind a snow-plow, so we had a bit of an escort.

Now it's shovel-out time, and the shoveling is not fun. Very deep snow with ice underneath. I just watched, but it looked like really hard work. :)

Not sure if my house is still out of power. I imagine I'll get home eventually and will know then. More shoveling awaits there. The Art League is closed tomorrow, so a snow day! Can tackle organizing my basement and garage, and get some painting done. Nice.
