One of my favorite things to do is get out and do some plein air on a beautiful day. Today I took the morning off and headed to Gordon's Pond. I got two relatively large (16 x 20 and 20 x 24) done. There's still some tweaking to do on the path painting, but it's pretty close. It's always a challenge to work quickly, with changing light, bikers/runners/pedestrians stopping to chat and the occasional greenhead. (One of which died in agony after sticking himself back-first to one of the wet paintings. He deserved it.) These two will make it to the RAL Outdoor Show this weekend, wet but there.
